I thought they were much better than some bulk order mini pet.

The only gripe I could think of, is that something that lasts so long only awards 3 points to the PA title track.

25 points would have been nice.

Didn't have much time this weekend so never got the chance to jump into a decent district in time for the finales. They look so cool though, and I love all the favors. Will have to sneak into someones guild hall lol.

This was one thing I did like about this event - I do think the fireworks crates were a cool idea.

One of my fellow guildies went and had a party in our hall after one of the events (he and another person from another of the guilds in our alliance decided to supply all the ingredients to a needy district), and i must say the fireworks were the best part of it. that and my ranger dancing with his shirt off and his lion mask on. +1 awesomeness to ANET for having a creative idea to end an excellent weekend event! (i dont care what people say, rollerbeetles=the awesomeness. i will cry out of happiness when they add rollerbeetle racing as an actual form of gameplay, and not just a 2 times a year thing)

Love the crates...just wish you could use them in a town in addition to the Guild Hall...

Eh I dunno about towns. Hotshots will run around charging money for fireworks displays, and the alliance ownership thing in Factions will lose its use.

How about in explorable areas? Celebrate that FoW clearing with some fireworks.

I always thought the fire works were ugly. I could easily get the same effect by opening MS paint and using the spray tool with blue/red/yellow shades, then drawing a few bumble bees. Seriously, I mean I'm a little hardcore about next-gen graphics at this point and I know GW is on an outdated engine, but that doesn't mean we should appreciate half rate work.

A little Hardcore, Ouch! Anyways for an Online game only it still looks great, even though the engine is indeed a tad old but its still the best if not one of the best engines for this type of game (in my opinion), very compatible with some lesser hardware and overall its not a real performance hog.

Remember though:

Gameplay > Graphics!

Up now at http://gw.dawnmist.net/GuildHallFireworks/

Forgot to turn the UI off for the first few.

Screen res is high and I haven't compressed them, so the files are somewhat large. Link goes to the file index, so link is safe to browse on a dial-up connection, and the index shows the filesize per image.

Ever since the appearance of Fireworks NPCs in towns alliances can control in Factions people have been posting requests for a similar NPC to be available for Guild Halls. I kept seeing those suggestions everywhere. And Anet heared them too and granted the wish in a way.
I think they're cool, pretty unique thing, a game mechanic that existed since betas got a new use.

This was nice of you, now those who don't have a hall can see something of it till they get the chance to finally use their own. How's that for tring to be positive?

Edit: Didn't see Dawnmist's post. Nice of you too.
